Why is Denzel Washington considered such a handsome guy?

I've seen so many pics of him and I think he's just average no homo. I cant see how he's unbelievably handsome. I'm not jealous or hating. I just dont see his handsomeness. I understand that will smith and tyson beckford are handsome people no homo but i dont see how denzel is.
