Is making someone feel ashamed to act feminine a form of oppression?

My feminist neighbor has no problem with her daughter being a "girly girl." I think if you would talk to some feminists and get to know them instead of citing obscure quotes from alleged radicals, you may come the realization that the majority of feminists do not espouse such views and many of them are in fact feminine.
